Insight Gisborne and Insight Wanaka offer consultancy services relating to the Resource Management Act. 

The practice was established in November 2001 by Ross Muir who was joined by Daniel Kingsford in 2014.
Ross and Daniel have an in-depth knowledge of resource management practice as well as a detailed knowledge of the Council planning documents.  They have appeared at numerous Council hearings and have presented expert evidence before the Planning Tribunal and the Environment Court on many occasions.

Ross has over 36 years experience in local resource management, formerly working for the planning sections in both the Gisborne District Council and City Council.  He has worked as an accredited Independent Commissioner. Ross established the Wanaka office in 2017 and now services clients in both Gisborne and Wanaka.

Daniel has over 18 years experience in resource management in both the Auckland and Gisborne Regions. He formerly held the position of Resource Consents Manager at the Gisborne District Council, until 2014, when he left to join Insight.
